Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,338 m / 4,390 ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our Cime Himalaya Trek & Expedition representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. After checking in, take some time to relax and acclimate to the vibrant atmosphere of the city. In the evening, join us for a welcome dinner where you will meet your trekking team and receive a briefing about the adventure ahead.

Day 2 : Kathmandu (1,338 m / 4,390 ft): Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Today, explore the cultural heart of Nepal. We will visit iconic sites such as Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath Stupa. Each site offers a glimpse into Nepal’s rich history and religious practices. In the afternoon, return to the hotel for final preparations, including gear checks and briefing on the trek details. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner.

Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Beshishahar to Syange (1,100 m / 3,600 ft)

After breakfast, Drive from Kathmandu to Beshishahar, the starting point of our trek. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, offering stunning views of the lush countryside and local villages. From Beshishahar, we continue our drive to Syange, where we will spend the night. Enjoy the tranquil environment as we prepare for the trek.

Day 4 : Trek from Syange to Dharapani (1,860 m / 6,100 ft)

Today marks the beginning of our trekking adventure. The trail follows the Marsyangdi River, passing through terraced fields and lush forests. As we trek, enjoy views of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. After around 6 hours of hiking, we arrive in Dharapani, a charming village where we’ll spend the night, soaking in the local culture.

Day 5 : Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,710 m / 8,890 ft)

Continuing our ascent, we trek to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. The trail is filled with captivating landscapes, including dense forests and traditional stone houses. After approximately 5-6 hours of trekking, we reach Chame, known for its natural hot springs. Relax and rejuvenate before preparing for the next day’s journey.

Day 6 : Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300 m / 10,824 ft)

Today's trek takes us through a stunning pine forest and across several suspension bridges. The impressive views of the towering peaks accompany us as we ascend to Pisang, which is divided into Upper and Lower Pisang. We’ll spend the night in Upper Pisang, offering spectacular views of the Annapurna range.

Day 7 : Upper Pisang to Manang (3,519 m / 11,546 ft) - 6-7 hrs

The trail today leads us through beautiful landscapes, including stunning views of Annapurna II and IV. After around 6-7 hours of trekking, we arrive in Manang, where we’ll spend the next day acclimatizing. Explore the village, visit the local monastery, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery surrounding us.

Day 8 : Manang: Rest

Today is a vital acclimatization day in Manang. Use this time to relax and adjust to the altitude. You can take short hikes to higher elevations or explore the village, learning about the local culture and traditions. Staying active will help prepare your body for the journey ahead.

Day 9 : Manang to Leder (4,200 m / 13,780 ft) - 4-5 hrs

After a hearty breakfast, we begin our trek to Leder. The trail ascends gradually, offering magnificent views of the mountains. After 4-5 hours, we arrive at Leder, a small settlement that serves as our base for the next phase of the trek. Enjoy a warm meal and rest up for the ascent to Chulu West.

Day 10 : Leder to Chulu West Base Camp (4,900 m / 16,077 ft) - 4-5 hrs

We trek to the base camp of Chulu West today, navigating rocky terrain and gaining altitude. The stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks will motivate us along the way. After 4-5 hours of trekking, we set up camp at the base, surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 11 : Chulu West Base Camp to Camp I (5,100 m / 16,733 ft)

Today, we make our ascent to Camp I. This part of the trek involves climbing over rocky and sometimes challenging terrain. After reaching Camp I, we’ll set up tents and prepare for the summit push. Take some time to enjoy the breathtaking views and rest.

Day 12 : Rest & Acclimatization at Camp I (5,100 m / 16,733 ft)

This day is dedicated to acclimatization, allowing our bodies to adjust to the high altitude. Take short hikes around Camp I, focusing on hydration and rest. The views from Camp I are nothing short of spectacular, providing a perfect backdrop for a day of relaxation.

Day 13 : Camp I to Camp II (5,530 m / 18,144 ft)

We continue our ascent to Camp II today. This section involves more technical climbing, and we’ll work together as a team to ensure safety and success. After reaching Camp II, we’ll settle in and prepare for the summit attempt.

Day 14 : Summit Chulu West and back to Camp I (6,419 m / 21,061 ft)

Today is the highlight of our trek as we make our summit attempt on Chulu West. We’ll start early to take advantage of the favorable weather conditions. After reaching the summit and enjoying the incredible views, we’ll return to Camp I to rest and celebrate our achievement.

Day 15 : Camp I to Leder (4,200 m / 13,780 ft) - 5-6 hrs

We begin our descent back to Leder today, retracing our steps through the rugged terrain. After 5-6 hours of trekking, we arrive at Leder, where we’ll enjoy a well-deserved meal and reflect on our summit success.

Day 16 : Contingency Day

This day serves as a contingency day in case of bad weather or other delays during the summit push. If everything went smoothly, you can use this day to rest or explore the surroundings further.

Day 17 : Leder to Thorong Phedi (4,600 m / 15,093 ft) - 3-4 hrs

Today’s trek to Thorong Phedi is a relatively short but beautiful journey. As we approach Thorong Phedi, the base for the Thorong La Pass, enjoy the stunning scenery and prepare for the challenging trek ahead.

Day 18 : Thorong Phedi - Thorong Pass - Muktinath - Jomsom (5,416 m / 17,770 ft) - 7-8 hrs

We start early today to cross Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek. After reaching the pass, we descend toward Muktinath, a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The descent to Jomsom is stunning, and we’ll arrive in Jomsom by evening, where we’ll celebrate the completion of our trek.

Day 19 : Jomsom to Pokhara by flight (827 m / 2,713 ft)

Enjoy a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, where you can relax and soak in the beauty of the lakes and mountains. Spend the day exploring Pokhara’s highlights, including Phewa Lake and the World Peace Pagoda.

Day 20 : Drive back to Kathmandu (1,350 m / 4,429 ft)

After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, offering a final opportunity to appreciate the stunning landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening for shopping or relaxing.

Day 21 : Final Departure

Your incredible journey comes to an end today. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy your last moments in Kathmandu, perhaps picking up souvenirs or enjoying a final meal.
