Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Cime Himalaya Trek & Expedition. After a warm welcome, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the bustling Thamel district of Kathmandu. Take some time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner where you can meet your trekking team and discuss the thrilling adventure that lies ahead.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Beni

After an early breakfast, Drive to Beni, which takes approximately 7-8 hours. The road winds through lush green hills and picturesque villages, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival in Beni, we’ll check into our lodge and have the rest of the day to explore the local area and prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 3 : Trek from Beni to Babiyachaur

Today marks the beginning of our trek. We will follow the Myagdi River, crossing suspension bridges and navigating through terraced fields and forests. The trek takes about 6-7 hours, and upon reaching Babiyachaur, we’ll settle into our accommodation. Enjoy the serene surroundings and take in the sights of the lush green landscape.

Day 4 : Trek from Babiyachaur to Dharapani

After breakfast, we will continue our journey towards Dharapani. The trail gradually ascends through charming villages and dense forests. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive in Dharapani, a small village where we’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse. Take some time to interact with the locals and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Day 5 : Trek from Dharapani to Muri

Today, we’ll trek to Muri, passing through beautiful rhododendron forests and gaining altitude. The trail offers magnificent views of the Dhaulagiri range. The trek will take approximately 6-7 hours, and upon arrival in Muri, we’ll check into our accommodation and enjoy a well-deserved meal.

Day 6 : Trek from Muri to Boghara

As we continue our adventure, we will trek from Muri to Boghara today. The trail is scenic and takes us through traditional villages and terraced fields. After around 5-6 hours of walking, we’ll arrive at Boghara, a small settlement where we’ll spend the night. Enjoy the tranquil setting and take in the views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 7 : Trek from Boghara to Dobang

Today’s trek takes us from Boghara to Dobang. The trail ascends through lush forests and offers stunning views along the way. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, we’ll reach Dobang, where we’ll settle into our lodge. Enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings and relax after a rewarding day.

Day 8 : Trek from Dobang to Choriban Khola

We’ll continue our journey today, trekking from Dobang to Choriban Khola. The trail will take us through dense forests and along scenic river valleys. This leg of the trek takes about 6-7 hours. Upon arrival at Choriban Khola, we’ll set up camp and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the location.

Day 9 : Trek from Choriban Khola to Italian Base Camp

Today, we’ll trek to the Italian Base Camp, a crucial stop on our journey to Dhaulagiri. The trail is exhilarating and offers views of the majestic peaks around us. After approximately 6-7 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at the Italian Base Camp, where we can rest and prepare for the upcoming acclimatization days.

Day 10 : Acclimatization Day at Italian Base Camp

To ensure we’re properly acclimatized for the higher altitudes, today will be dedicated to acclimatization. We’ll take short hikes around the camp, allowing our bodies to adjust to the altitude. This day is essential for our overall health and well-being during the trek.

Day 11 : Trek from Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp

After acclimatizing, we’ll trek from the Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp. The trail takes us through beautiful glacial landscapes, and after about 5-6 hours, we’ll arrive at our campsite. We’ll take the time to enjoy the stunning views of the Dhaulagiri range surrounding us.

Day 12 : Trek from Glacier Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp

Today, we’ll trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The trail is thrilling as we gain altitude and navigate glacial terrain. After approximately 5-6 hours, we’ll reach Base Camp, where we’ll set up our tents and prepare for our ascent of Thapa Peak. Enjoy the spectacular views and the sense of accomplishment.

Day 13 : Acclimatization Day at Dhaulagiri Base Camp

Another crucial acclimatization day, we’ll spend today at Dhaulagiri Base Camp. We can take short hikes or rest and hydrate as our bodies adjust to the altitude. This day will also be an opportunity to prepare our gear for the climb ahead.

Day 14 : Trek from Dhaulagiri Base Camp to Hidden Valley via French Pass

Today’s trek takes us through the stunning French Pass (5,360 m), leading us into the Hidden Valley. The ascent is challenging but incredibly rewarding, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. After crossing the pass, we’ll descend into Hidden Valley, where we’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 15 : Trek from French Pass to Thapa Peak (6,012 m) and Return to Base Camp

We’ll rise early for our summit attempt on Thapa Peak. The climb takes us through thrilling terrain, and reaching the summit will provide unforgettable views of the Dhaulagiri range and beyond. After enjoying our time at the top, we’ll descend back to Base Camp, where we can celebrate our successful ascent.

Day 16 : Thapa Pass Phedi to Alu Bari

After packing up our base camp, we’ll trek from Thapa Pass Phedi to Alu Bari. The trail is relatively easier as we descend through beautiful landscapes. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at Alu Bari, where we’ll set up camp and enjoy a well-deserved meal.

Day 17 : Trek to Jomsom

Today’s trek will take us to Jomsom, a vibrant town known for its stunning scenery and culture. The trek takes approximately 5-6 hours, and upon arrival, we’ll check into our accommodation and have the rest of the day to explore Jomsom and relax after our trek.

Day 18 : Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara

After breakfast, we’ll take a short flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. The flight offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range. Once we arrive in Pokhara, we’ll check into our hotel and have the rest of the day to relax or explore this beautiful lakeside city.

Day 19 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

After a leisurely morning in Pokhara, we’ll drive back to Kathmandu, which takes around 6-7 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and have the evening free for shopping or enjoying a farewell dinner with your trekking companions.

Day 20 : Final Departure

Your incredible adventure in the Himalayas comes to an end today. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploring Kathmandu.
