Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Cime Himalaya Trek & Expedition will greet you and assist you with your transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. After checking in, take the day to relax or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, join us for a welcome dinner where you will meet your trekking team and discuss the exciting itinerary ahead.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu (1,400 m) to Machha Khola (890 m)

After an early breakfast, Drive to Machha Khola. The journey takes about 6-7 hours, winding through beautiful landscapes, lush valleys, and traditional villages. As we follow the Trishuli River and then the Budhi Gandaki River, you’ll have the chance to admire the stunning views of the Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival in Machha Khola, we’ll check into our lodge and rest for the night.

Day 3 : Trek from Machha Khola (890 m) to Jagat (1,340 m) - Duration: 5-6 hours

Today marks the start of our trekking adventure. After breakfast, we’ll trek along the banks of the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through charming villages. The trail leads us through lush forests and terraced fields. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, we will reach Jagat, a picturesque village where we will spend the night in a local guesthouse.

Day 4 : Trek from Jagat (1,340 m) to Deng (1,860 m) - Duration: 5-6 hours

We will continue our trek today, leaving Jagat behind as we ascend the valley. The trail meanders through dense forests and steep hills, offering glimpses of the surrounding mountains. After approximately 5-6 hours, we’ll arrive in Deng, a small village known for its hospitable locals. We’ll settle into our accommodation and enjoy a well-deserved meal.

Day 5 : Trek from Deng (1,860 m) to Namrung (2,630 m) - Duration: 5-6 hours

Today’s trek takes us higher into the Manaslu region. The trail features stunning views of the surrounding peaks and follows the Budhi Gandaki River. After a trek of about 5-6 hours, we will reach Namrung, a charming village that offers spectacular views of the Manaslu range. We’ll check into our lodge and enjoy the local cuisine.

Day 6 : Trek from Namrung (2,630 m) to Lho (3,180 m) - Duration: 5-6 hours

As we continue our ascent, we’ll trek from Namrung to Lho today. The trail offers breathtaking views and gradually leads us through picturesque villages. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive in Lho, where we can visit the local monastery and enjoy stunning views of Manaslu and other surrounding peaks. We’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse.

Day 7 : Trek from Lho (3,180 m) to Samagaon (3,520 m) - Duration: 5-6 hours

Today, we’ll trek to Samagaon, the largest village in the region. The trail winds through beautiful landscapes and offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. After a trek of approximately 5-6 hours, we will arrive in Samagaon. Here, you can explore the village, visit the monasteries, and soak in the incredible mountain views.

Day 8 : Trek from Samagaon (3,520 m) to Samdo (3,860 m) - Duration: 4-5 hours

We’ll leave Samagaon and trek to Samdo today. The trail offers breathtaking views as we ascend through alpine meadows and cross several rivers. After about 4-5 hours of hiking, we’ll arrive in Samdo, a small village near the Tibetan border. We’ll settle into our accommodation and prepare for our acclimatization day.

Day 9 : Acclimatization Day at Samdo (3,860 m)

To help our bodies adjust to the altitude, we’ll take a day to acclimatize in Samdo. You can take short hikes in the surrounding areas, such as exploring the nearby Tibetan market or visiting the viewpoint for stunning panoramas. This day is crucial for ensuring a safe and successful ascent to Larke Peak.

Day 10 : Trek from Samdo (3,860 m) to Dharamshala (4,480 m) / Larke Phedi (4,460 m) - Duration: 4-5 hours

Today, we’ll trek from Samdo to Dharamshala, also known as Larke Phedi. The trail takes us through beautiful landscapes, with views of the Larke La Pass in the distance. After about 4-5 hours, we will reach our destination, where we will rest and prepare for the climb to Larke Peak.

Day 11 : Trek from Dharamshala to Larke Peak Base Camp (5,135 m) - Duration: 4-5 hours

We’ll set off early today for Base Camp. The trail climbs steeply, offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. After approximately 4-5 hours of trekking, we will arrive at the Larke Peak Base Camp, where we’ll set up our tents and rest. The evening will be spent preparing for our summit attempt.

Day 12 : Climbing Period and Preparation

These two days are reserved for climbing Larke Peak. Depending on weather conditions, we will attempt the summit during this period. Our guides will provide instructions and support as we make our ascent. Should the weather not cooperate, we’ll utilize these days for preparation, training, and acclimatization.

Day 14 : Trek from Larke Peak Base Camp to Bimtang (3,800 m) - Duration: 5-6 hours

After a successful summit, we’ll begin our descent. We’ll trek back down to Bimtang, a beautiful valley with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The descent takes approximately 5-6 hours, and upon arrival, we can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Day 15 : Trek from Bimtang to Dharapani (1,963 m) - Duration: 6-7 hours

Today’s trek takes us from Bimtang to Dharapani. The trail leads us through lush forests and charming villages, offering a mix of uphill and downhill sections. After about 6-7 hours of trekking, we’ll reach Dharapani, where we can rest and enjoy a warm meal.

Day 16 : Trek from Dharapani to Syange (1,100 m) - Duration: 5-6 hours

We’ll continue our trek today as we make our way to Syange. The trail descends gradually, passing through beautiful landscapes and terraced fields. After approximately 5-6 hours, we’ll arrive in Syange, where we’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse.

Day 17 : Drive from Syange to Besisahar & to Kathmandu - Duration: 6-7 hours

After breakfast, we’ll drive from Syange to Besisahar, where we’ll change vehicles for our journey back to Kathmandu. The drive takes about 6-7 hours, providing one last chance to enjoy the stunning views of the Nepalese countryside. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and relax after your adventure.

Day 18 : Final Departure

Your incredible journey concludes today. Depending on your flight schedule, take some time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu.
