Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival to Kathmandu (1,350m) and transfer to hotel.

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal, you'll be greeted by a representative from Cime Himalaya Trek & Expedition. You'll be escorted to your hotel, where you can relax and acclimatize to the city’s unique atmosphere. After settling in, you might want to explore the nearby streets filled with shops, cafes, and historical sites. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where you’ll savor traditional Nepali cuisine and receive a briefing about the trek ahead.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Shivalaya (1,790 m), 8 to 9 hrs.

After an early breakfast, Scenic drive from Kathmandu to Shivalaya. The journey takes approximately 8-10 hours and traverses beautiful landscapes, including terraced fields and charming villages. Along the way, enjoy views of the towering Himalayas and lush green hills. Upon arrival in Shivalaya, take some time to explore the village, meet the locals, and absorb the serene ambiance. Spend the night in a local teahouse, preparing for the trek ahead.

Day 3 : Shivalaya to Khahare (2,175m), 3 to 4 hrs trek.

Today marks the beginning of your trek. After breakfast, you'll start your journey, walking through dense forests and along riverside paths. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After several hours of trekking, you'll reach Khahare, a small village nestled in the hills. Here, you can visit local homes, observe traditional lifestyles, and enjoy the hospitality of the villagers. Overnight in a teahouse, where you can share stories with fellow trekkers.

Day 4 : Khahare to Panipakha (3,105m), 5 to 6 hrs trek.

After breakfast, the trail ascends gradually, taking you through beautiful rhododendron forests. As you climb higher, the views become more breathtaking. You'll pass by picturesque waterfalls and rocky outcrops. Reaching Panipakha, you’ll find a stunning campsite with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Spend the evening relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty. The local teahouse will provide a warm meal, fueling you for the adventures ahead.

Day 5 : Panipakha to Maanedanda (3,940m), 5 to 6 hrs trek.

Today's trek is challenging but rewarding. You'll begin with a steep ascent, gaining altitude as you traverse alpine meadows and rocky paths. The landscape transforms into a rugged terrain dotted with unique flora. Upon reaching Maanedanda, the high-altitude campsite offers unparalleled views of the Himalayas. Take the time to acclimatize, and enjoy the crisp mountain air. Tonight, gather around with your group for dinner and share experiences from the day.

Day 6 : Maanedanda to Panch Pokhari (4,515m), 5 to 6 hrs trek.

The trek to Panch Pokhari is one of the highlights of the journey. You'll walk through high-altitude pastures and see spectacular mountain vistas. Upon arriving at Panch Pokhari, you’ll be greeted by the serene beauty of the five sacred lakes, surrounded by towering peaks. This is a great spot for reflection and photography. Spend the night in a local teahouse, and if conditions permit, enjoy stargazing under the clear mountain sky.

Day 7 : Panch Pokhari to Tare (4,140m), 6 to 7 hrs trek.

After breakfast, set off towards Tare. The trail will take you through varied landscapes, including rocky paths and verdant hills. Expect some steep sections as you navigate the terrain. Upon reaching Tare, enjoy a well-deserved break while soaking in the views of the surrounding mountains. This evening, gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the beauty of the journey so far.

Day 8 : Tare to Ngeju (3,690m) via Gyazo-La Pass (4,880m), 7 to 8 hrs trek.

Today, you'll tackle the challenging Gyazo-La Pass. The ascent will be steep, but the panoramic views from the top are a rewarding payoff. After crossing the pass, the descent to Ngeju is filled with wildflowers and beautiful landscapes. This charming village is a great place to learn about local culture. Settle in for the night in a teahouse and enjoy a hearty meal to replenish your energy.

Day 9 : Ngeju to Lahaksewar (2,665m), 5 to 6 hrs trek.

Today’s trek leads you down to Lahaksewar, offering a different perspective as you descend through lush forests and terraced fields. Along the way, you may encounter local farmers tending to their fields. Arriving in Lahaksewar, you’ll have the chance to rest and enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere. Spend the night in a cozy teahouse, where you can enjoy a warm meal and share stories with your fellow trekkers.

Day 10 : Lahaksewar to Kyama (2,380m), 3 to 4 hrs trek.

After breakfast, you’ll undertake a leisurely trek to Kyama. The trail is relatively easy, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty at a relaxed pace. As you walk, take time to observe the diverse flora and fauna. Upon reaching Kyama, settle into a local teahouse and explore the village. The warm hospitality of the locals will make your stay memorable.

Day 11 : Kyama to Gumdel (2,255m), 3 to 4 hrs trek.

Today’s trek to Gumdel is filled with scenic views and tranquil landscapes. The path winds through forests and small streams, creating a soothing backdrop for your journey. Upon arriving in Gumdel, you’ll be greeted by stunning views of the surrounding hills. Spend the night in a teahouse, enjoying local dishes and the camaraderie of fellow trekkers.

Day 12 : Gumdel to Serding (3,360m), 3 to 4 hrs trek.

Prepare for a rewarding trek as you make your way to Serding. The trail climbs gradually, offering breathtaking views of the mountains. You'll pass through charming villages and may encounter local herders with their livestock. Upon reaching Serding, relax in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the stunning vistas. Dinner will be served in a cozy teahouse, where you can discuss the day’s adventures.

Day 13 : Serding to Lapchane (3,150m) via Thodung, 5 to 6 hrs trek.

Today's trek takes you via the historic Thodung village. The path will be scenic, with views of terraced fields and traditional homes. Upon reaching Lapchane, you’ll find a welcoming community and beautiful mountain scenery. Spend the night in a local teahouse, reflecting on the trek and sharing stories with your companions over dinner.

Day 14 : Lapchane to Jiri (1,935m), 3 to 4 hrs trek.

Your final trekking day brings you to Jiri, a significant town known for its historical importance in the region. The trail winds down through lush greenery and charming villages, allowing you to soak in the last moments of the trek. Upon arrival in Jiri, take the time to explore the town and visit local markets. Settle into a teahouse for your final night on the trail, where you can celebrate your accomplishments with your fellow trekkers.

Day 15 : Drive from Jiri to Kathmandu (1,400m), 8 to 9 hrs.

After breakfast, you’ll take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. The journey offers a chance to reflect on your trek while enjoying the beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free for relaxation or exploring any last-minute sights in the city. In the evening, join us for a farewell dinner, where you can share your experiences and celebrate your trekking adventure.
