Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Welcome to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Cime Himalaya Trek & Expedition who will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, take some time to rest or explore the lively Thamel district, known for its shops, restaurants, and cultural landmarks. Day 2 : In Kathmandu for Briefings and Permits (1,400m)

Today is dedicated to necessary preparations for your trek. After breakfast, you’ll meet your trekking guide for a briefing about the itinerary and the challenges you may face on the trail. This is also the day for obtaining your trekking permits, including those for the Kanchenjunga and Makalu regions. Spend the afternoon visiting nearby attractions such as the Swayambhunath Stupa and Durbar Square, soaking in the rich history and culture of Nepal.

Day 3 : Fly to Bhadrapur, Drive to Ilam (1,200m)
