Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m) and Transfer to Hotel
Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Cime Himalaya Trek & Expedition. After a warm welcome, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the city’s vibrant atmosphere. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner where you can meet your trekking team and discuss the adventure that awaits.
Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu (1,400 m) to Syabrubesi (1,460 m)
After an early breakfast, Drive to Syabrubesi, the starting point of our trek. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours and winds through beautiful hills and rural landscapes. Upon arrival in Syabrubesi, we’ll settle into our accommodation and have the rest of the day to explore the charming village and prepare for the trek ahead.
Day 3 : Trek from Syabrubesi (1,460 m) to Lama Hotel (2,460 m)
Today marks the beginning of our trek. We’ll follow the Langtang River, passing through lush forests and beautiful terraced fields. After approximately 6-7 hours of walking, we’ll arrive at Lama Hotel, a peaceful location nestled among the mountains. After settling into our lodge, take a moment to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere of the Himalayas.
Day 4 : Trek from Lama Hotel (2,460 m) to Langtang Village (3,450 m)
After breakfast, we’ll continue our trek towards Langtang Village. The trail ascends through enchanting forests, with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. After around 5-6 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at Langtang Village, known for its unique stone houses and rich culture. Here, we’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse, experiencing the hospitality of the Tamang people.
Day 5 : Trek from Langtang Village (3,450 m) to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m)
Today’s trek takes us to Kyanjin Gompa, one of the highlights of the Langtang Valley. The trail offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and stunning landscapes. After about 4-5 hours of trekking, we’ll reach Kyanjin Gompa, home to a beautiful monastery and various ancient artifacts. We’ll settle into our lodge and enjoy the stunning views around us.
Day 6 : Exploration Day at Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m) and Hike to Tserko Ri (4,984 m)
Today is dedicated to acclimatization and exploration. After breakfast, we’ll hike to Tserko Ri, a stunning viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the Langtang range. The hike is challenging but rewarding, taking about 5-6 hours round trip. Upon returning to Kyanjin Gompa, you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings before preparing for the next phase of our adventure.
Day 7 : Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Naya Kanga Base Camp (4,960 m)
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll start our trek to Naya Kanga Base Camp. The trail leads us through rocky terrain and beautiful landscapes as we gain altitude. After approximately 5-6 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at Base Camp, where we’ll set up our tents and prepare for the summit attempt. Enjoy the stunning views of Naya Kanga and the surrounding peaks.
Day 8 : Summit Naya Kanga (5,844 m) and Back to Base Camp
This is the day we’ve been preparing for! We’ll start our summit attempt early in the morning, typically around 2 AM, to take advantage of favorable weather conditions. The climb is exhilarating and offers stunning views of the Langtang range. After reaching the summit, we’ll celebrate our achievement before descending back to Base Camp. Upon arrival, we’ll rest and reflect on our incredible experience.
Day 9 : Trek from Base Camp to Ganja-La Phedi
After packing up our base camp, we’ll trek to Ganja-La Phedi today. The trail is scenic and takes us through beautiful alpine meadows. After about 4-5 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at Ganja-La Phedi, where we’ll set up camp and prepare for our upcoming crossing of the Ganja La Pass.
Day 10 : Cross the Ganja La Pass (5,130 m) and Trek to Keldang
Today is another exciting day as we cross the Ganja La Pass. The ascent takes us through challenging terrain, but the views from the pass are breathtaking. After successfully crossing the pass, we’ll descend towards Keldang, where we’ll set up camp for the night. The trek takes around 6-7 hours, so it’s important to pace ourselves.
Day 11 : Trek from Keldang (4,270 m) to Dhukpa (4,040 m)
We’ll continue our trek today, making our way to Dhukpa. The trail is beautiful and offers a chance to experience the remote beauty of the region. After approximately 5-6 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive in Dhukpa, where we’ll settle into our accommodation and enjoy a well-deserved meal.
Day 12 : Trek from Dhukpa (4,040 m) to Tarkeghyang (2,600 m)
Today, we’ll trek down to Tarkeghyang. The descent offers stunning views of the valley and surrounding landscapes. After about 6-7 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive in Tarkeghyang, a picturesque village known for its rich cultural heritage. We’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse, enjoying the warm hospitality of the locals.
Day 13 : Trek from Tarkeghyang (2,600 m) to Sermathang (2,590 m)
We’ll have a short trek today as we make our way to Sermathang. The trail is pleasant and takes about 3-4 hours, allowing us to soak in the beautiful surroundings. Upon arrival in Sermathang, we’ll check into our accommodation and have the afternoon free to explore the village and enjoy the views.
Day 14 : Trek from Sermathang (2,590 m) to Melamchi Pul Bazar (870 m)
Today, we’ll trek down to Melamchi Pul Bazar. The descent takes about 5-6 hours, and the trail is lined with lush forests and beautiful scenery. Once we reach Melamchi Pul Bazar, we’ll settle into a lodge and enjoy the local cuisine as we reflect on our incredible journey.
Day 15 : Drive from Melamchi Pul Bazar (870 m) to Kathmandu (1,400 m)
After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes around 6-7 hours, giving us time to enjoy the beautiful countryside as we return to the bustling capital. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and have the rest of the day free to relax or do some last-minute shopping.
Day 16 : Final Departure
Your incredible journey through the Himalayas comes to an end today. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore more of Kathmandu.
