Upon arriving in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal, you'll be greeted by the bustling energy of the city. After a warm welcome at airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can settle in and relax. Take the afternoon to explore the nearby Thamel, famous for its narrow streets lined with shops, restaurants, and cafés. Enjoy the flavors of local cuisine, perhaps trying a traditional Nepali dal bhat or momo. In the evening, attend a pre-trek briefing where your guide will share essential information about the journey ahead.

After breakfast, scenic drive to Dhap, which will take approximately 8 to 9 hours. The journey will take you through picturesque landscapes, winding roads, and charming villages, offering glimpses of the lush hills and terraced fields. Upon reaching Dhap, settle into your tea house or lodge, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the trekking adventure that lies ahead.

Your trek begins today as you set off from Dhap to Japre. The trail will take approximately 5 to 6 hours, leading you through beautiful forests and local settlements. As you trek, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and immerse yourself in the tranquil ambiance of nature. Upon arrival in Jhapre, relax at your tea house or lodge and enjoy the evening with your fellow trekkers.

Today's trek to Pikey Base Camp will take about 6 to 7 hours. As you ascend, the landscape transforms, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan range, including Mount Everest on a clear day. The trail winds through lush forests and opens up to spectacular viewpoints. Arriving at Pikey Base Camp, set up your accommodations and take in the panoramic views of the majestic peaks that surround you.

Early morning hike to Pikey Peak (4,065m) for sunrise views. Experience breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Himalayan range, where the towering peaks of Mount Everest (8,848 meters), Kanchenjunga (8,586 meters), Makalu (8,485 meters), Gauri Shankar (7,134 meters), and Numbur Himal (6,957 meters) rise proudly against the sky. As you descend, immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the landscape, before continuing your journey to the serene village of Jase Bhanjyang, where you'll spend an unforgettable night surrounded by the awe-inspiring natural splendor of the Himalayas. 

Trek through alpine meadows and serene landscapes to the picturesque village of Junbesi (2,700m), home to the Sherpa people on the Jiri-Everest trail. One of the famous landmarks near Junbesi is the Thupten Chholing Monastery, a renowned Tibetan Buddhist monastery located in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal. Founded in the 1960s by Trulshik Rinpoche, a revered Tibetan Lama, the monastery serves as a significant spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism. In the afternoon, we will visit Thupten Chholing Monastery.

Today, you will visit the renowned Thubten Choling Monastery, located just outside of Junbesi. After breakfast, take a short hike to the monastery, where you can observe the serene environment and perhaps interact with the monks. After exploring the area, return to Junbesi and set up camp for the night at an elevation of 3,250 meters, surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas.

Set out for Shengeephuk today, which will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. The trek ascends gradually through stunning landscapes dotted with rhododendron forests. As you reach Shengeephuk, you'll be rewarded with incredible views of the surrounding peaks and landscape. Set up your camp for the night, and enjoy the tranquil mountain atmosphere.

Continue your adventure as you trek to Saharsbeni today. The trail takes around 5 to 6 hours and leads you through picturesque valleys and vibrant flora. Upon arrival at Saharsbeni, you will set up camp and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings. Spend the evening relaxing under the stars, reflecting on your trek so far.

Today, trek to the stunning Dudhkunda Lake, a journey that will take about 5 to 6 hours. As you ascend, the landscape transforms into a dramatic alpine setting. Upon reaching the lake, take in the beauty of this sacred site surrounded by towering peaks. Set up camp nearby and enjoy the serene ambiance of the lake as the sun sets.

Take a day to explore the magnificent Dudhkunda Lake and its surroundings. You can hike around the lake, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and take in the breathtaking views. This day is an excellent opportunity for reflection and relaxation, allowing you to connect with the tranquil beauty of the Himalayas. Overnight camping near the lake.

After a refreshing time at Dudhkunda, set out for Timba. This trek will take approximately 5 to 6 hours as you descend through beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in Timba, set up camp and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the area, surrounded by stunning views of the mountains.

Today, you’ll trek to Taksindu, a journey of about 6 to 7 hours. The trail winds through beautiful forests and local villages, providing glimpses into the daily lives of the Sherpa people. Upon reaching Taksindu, relax at your tea house or lodge, and enjoy the hospitality of the locals.

On your final trekking day, you will trek to Phaplu, with an optional visit to the picturesque Chiwong Gompa. The trek will take approximately 5 to 6 hours. After exploring Phaplu and its surroundings, settle into your tea house or lodge for the night, celebrating the completion of your trek with your fellow trekkers.

After breakfast, board a private jeep for your drive back to Kathmandu. The journey will take about 8 to 9 hours, offering a chance to reflect on the amazing experiences and breathtaking landscapes of the trek. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy some leisure time.

  • Accommodation: Two nights hotel in Kathmandu, 5 nights tented camping and 8 nights lodge during the trek. One tent for two people.
