After checking in, take some time to relax or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, we will gather for a welcome dinner where you’ll meet your trekking team and discuss the adventure that lies ahead.
After breakfast, we’ll set off for Pokhara, a beautiful city known for its stunning lakes and mountain views. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours, passing through lush hills and terraced fields. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can explore the lakeside area or relax at your hotel. In the evening, enjoy the serene views of the Annapurna range as you prepare for the next phase of your journey.
This morning, we’ll take a scenic flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, where we’ll be greeted by the towering peaks of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, we’ll start our trek to Kagbeni, a traditional village that serves as a gateway to Upper Mustang. The trek takes about 3-4 hours, following the Kali Gandaki River. Once in Kagbeni, we’ll settle into our lodge and explore the village, known for its ancient monasteries.
